ListenToMe converts documents into clear, natural speech you can listen to anywhere. It is designed from the ground up for blind and visually impaired readers, with full TalkBack support and large, simple controls.
How it works
- Sign in with Google.
- Tap Upload File and pick a PDF or photo.
- Wait while the document is converted into speech.
- Tap the book to listen — pause, rewind, change speed, or seek.
What it does
- Designed for TalkBack — every button has a clear spoken label.
- Reads scanned pages and photographs, not just text-based PDFs.
- Listen in your own language — documents can be translated as they are converted.
- Background playback with lock-screen controls.
- Remembers your position so you can pick up where you left off.
- Playback speed from 0.75x to 2x.
- Books are stored on your device after the first download, so you can listen offline.
Languages
25 languages are supported: English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese, Nepali, Sanskrit, Urdu, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
Privacy
- No ads. Usage analytics help improve reliability and performance.
- Your data is never sold.
- Uploaded files are sent to the conversion services needed to generate your audiobook and terminal conversion data is automatically cleaned up after 10 days.
- Your reading history never leaves your device.
